For those people who shrink wrap their stock blades, I tried out this idea, and it worked! You put the shrink wrap on the blades, and start a pot of boiling water. Dip the tip of the blade into the boiling water and the shrink wrap will shrink down without a wrinkle. Go over to the sink and carefull pour the rest of the water over the blade and there will not be any wrinkles. Make sure you don't pour the water UNDER the shrink wrap, as you will get wet the first time you start up your chopper, for a while!
Note, this will not work on receivers that are being shrink wrapped, duh!

Maybe your results will vary, but hey, it worked for me!

Have you tried using a heat shrink gun? Why use boiling water when they already make a tool for doing this?

You can buy heat shrink that will fit the blades from cheapbatterypacks.com Here is a link to look at the shrink wrap they sell. http://www.unipros.com/cbpsite/prod...ssion_id=209453

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Yes, I have used a heat shrink gun. I just got unsatisfactory results (wrinkles) with it.

Also, here is the source for clear shrink wrap, and sized to fit the HB blades. Heck, it's even listed as fitting the HB blades. And they got my order out in 2 days from CA to IN. Only $1 a foot. Very nice people!

Also, thanks "cyhyam" for telling me about them!
