My Posts This: Topic Forum | No stretching was done. The "450x" changed the T/R gearing to slow it down. New plastic (stronger) material is used for the T/R transmission case and T/R blade holders. New flybar links to allow a greater range of pitch on the main rotor blades. New Main blade grips incorporating metal ball links are also included. The main frame area above the tailboom mount is redesigned to allow mounting the gyro.
Here's a quote from the e-mail I received from Align when they were shipping my upgrades to the original kit...........

| For 3D performance, you have to make some replacements as provided free
upgrades on the initial version, especially to change the new Fly bar
Control Levers (parts no.HH5003A, this parts are added which were not
listed in my mail) to enlarge its pitch .
If the pitch still not enough wide, you could also use file to do a
micro adjustment to pitch holes on the lift & right Main Frames (parts
no.HB2002 & HB2003). For more information kindly visit our website and
refer to English Manual at:

Duration of free upgrade parts will stop on Oct 25, in order to
providing more excellent R/C products to customers in the future, we are
welcome to any positive suggestions in the anytime.

I believe there are also some 315mm wooden blades included in the early release kits of the T-Rex 450x. My first 450x kit is due in today so I can verify all this first hand.
