I don't smoke, but if I did, I'd never consider trying to sue someone because I had lung cancer! Again, another example of our litigious society.
It's interesting how the lawyers seek out these 'victims' and not the other way around. I've been asked to participate (free of charge) in class action lawsuits, and I always write the a letter politely telling them to shove it.
And not all lawyers are low life scum suckers. I know quite a few who are sincere and honestly tell someone when they are way off base and will reject cases that they think are 'dubious' even if they are winable. But now I'm getting way off track. |
