Nice going on the standard bl motor.
Its nice to not have to find the right power combo.

I see CF blades
is that standard too?

not my money, I stopped after buying the first CP hb that would barely hover, what a let down after the V2 FP which hovers far better. Not
wasting my money again.

I don't know for sure but the bl motor looks like the Lightning motor they sell on Century's site. This is a relabeled HiMaxx brushless motor.

I hope they offer it in various combinations so we can use our existing brushless set.

I want one.

I'm still SO dissapointed in the HB CP that BARLEY hovers out of the
box I could never buy another little pos like this. And I'm not the only
only one who feels this way.

Yeap. Appear so and you told us twice. It runs better on brushless so out of the box it is not so hot but on a BL the CP isa great heli for the cost.

I would hope the New CP Pro without motor should be in the price range of $100-130. If so they will sell a ton.

I'm interested to hear how this performs when folks start buying them. Everything I heard about the CP was negative (stock form) but this looks like a better design. Brushless (finally) and no tail motor, that will be nice.

I wonder what the pricing will be...

I don't suppose there would be any type of upgrade kit available to go from the Elite CP to this? I know a lot of the heli has changed but what if I don't want a new motor and all?

Doesn't look like you can upgrade the current CP to this model. I think this might be a decent package though, looks good.

Century, please offer this kit without the brushless motor. Many will like to try other motor combos. It is sort of like making every raptor 30 kit with an OS 32. Others may want to run the TT39, or webra 35, etc. The outrunner motors have really become popular. I would like to have the option.

That Himax 2015:4100 can take the weight, but it will work harder now that it has to power 2 rotors. Those JST connectors won't cut it very well. Micro deans minimum. I would opt for a 180-200 watt outrunner type that weighs less than that Himax. The cc25 esc would add 10g more, but the power would be outrageous.

Here is the motor I speak of.
Max Motor MTM_400F2250kv outrunner weighs 46g and it is has 200watts.

I already have 2 X Himax 2015:4100 in my other 2 CP Hummers.

The joy of having micros is tinkering with the multitude of options.

Yeah, if not an upgrade kit at least a version without the brushless motor because many people already have a brushless they would like to use or would like to use something else.
