not sure....the frame rate on the 8700 is fast....but I am not certain how they work together.
I CAN suggest a JR 490T (500T for us here in the states) with that 8700. Awesome combo. I run it in a 90 class Predator.....great bite on the tail !!

Hi There!
I wouldn't recommend any jr digital servo for any futaba gyro as the frame rate are a bit different not that it wouldn't work but you severly reduce the life of the servo and not worth the risk.
