The case appears to be along the lines of the EVO series radios. Hope it has the same feel as I really liked that.

Trim wheels? Sounds very cool if that is what they are.

Has those similarity of ergonomical design.. doing away with nooks and crannies like the 8U or 9Z , more chances to trap dust and dirt. I like the new clean design. I really scared if then windows CE crashed while I am airborne with my heli

The list price is 280000 yen. WIth G3 RX and 4x 9255.

This info is straight from Hiroshi at Waka Model in Japan.

The Futaba 9Z set has 237000yen list price, with r149 and 4x 9252... just for comparison.

280,000.00 Japan Yen = 2,526.96 United States Dollars

and if the 9Z

237,000.00 Japan Yen = 2,138.89 United States Dollars

Street price for a 9Z was around 135600yen... but Futaba and OS raised many prices lately.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		that is the dogs. i fly JR and i like that. obviously not the finished version but i'm concerned about the OS it runs. i don't trust my windows xp with my flight sim never mind in my radio. i hope the bugs are ironed out. if they are it'll be a first for Microsoft. it's us that do the testing. i ain't doing the testing with that radio with my heli's.

now we see the future in transmitters. this thing could run mp3 files and you can play music through the radio to practice flights to music. BLING. if it uses CE then it should mean we can comminicate via infrared or something with the computer to save/edit settings. even use the flight sim using it. i assume thats a future aim otherwise why use CE.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Hell with all the bling. If it has a faster frame rate and other features is it going to be compatible to the 9z? Is it going to help get rid of any interaction with ccpm helis by having a faster frame rate?
I'm not into computers much but if its running a MS OS can it get a bug? a virus of some kind? I don't know thats why I'm asking? Also will the campac that I just got for my 9z be useless? will it be more buddy box friendly to other futaba radios. It would have been cool if Futaba would've had a market survey to find out what its users would want in their new radio.
