From what i understand, i just need some 2mm (or 3mm depending on the rod) wire, and a die set?

Is this correct?

Is this the die to get or can I get any die from LHS?

CN2039 2mm cutting die $18.95

Also - do you need to get the century ball links or can we buy dubro or other brand links from the LHS?

go to a good bike store and get some 2.0-2.5mm spokes and a good die.

you usuallly need a die handle & cutting oil.

The die is just the die. Import dies are about $10. Industrial dies are about $20
