Well.. After ordering about another $300+ in parts, it sits on the corner of my worktable looking at me... I have yet to get it dialed in properly. I ended up going to helihobby.com and buying their aluminum swashplate and aluminum connecting rods, and adjustable tail rod.., and also bought a Futaba GY240 ACVS gyro, removed the case and shrank wrapped it to save some weight.. I'm going to try working on it more next week. I think all I have left is trying to set up curves to maintain 1900 rpm's on the head.

Oh.. I'm using my Futaba 9CHF on this one, but setups should be easy to exchange

I just can't believe that parts for that little @#$#@$ cost almost as much if not more than my Raptor 30!!!!!!!!! Probably why I'm kinda intimidated by it.. my wallet is pretty empty and dusty now

If you get yours working before I get mine working.. I'd be sooo happy if you'd help share your curve setups.. and if I get mine working nicely, I'll do the same

The Hornet and CP upgrade and all electronics should be here by next tuesday. I also opted for the GY240 which I am getting through my LHS. I did get John K's Swash Plate, Oneway,Pitchslider and Collar but I think a couple of those items will be coming later on in the next week. But this will give me time to go over everything and fully understand everything including some of the modifications when it comes to assembly. This will be my first CCPM machine so that may prove to be challenging. Your not kidding around when it comes to the price tag after mods. The total cost is a long way from that basic Hornet kit price. LOL. But I could not resist the idea of flying indoors Once I get into it I will let you know more.

hate to say it, but I'm selling the hornet in the for sale section.. I just don't have enough time to get this thing up and running correctly, and having a hard time justifying the costs each time a part needs to be replaced.. Good luck with yours.. I'm sticking to the 30 and 60 sized birds

Let me know though if and when you get yours up and running correctly!!
