Synergy N-9 Canopy

I don't doubt the production time line. As I am sure they were well on their way before they cut ties with MA. But to say the production model will be perfect is simply un-realistic, period. There is no way to anticipate what mass production will bring. 1 prototype means nothing. 10 prototypes still means nothing. 500 production kits will say WAY more when they are in the fields for a year with out any issues. As things will be a little different. Bad glue process here, dull CNC bit there, sleepy machine operator. You get the point I am sure. Crap happens, and that is the way it is. People have been saying that they made the Fury what it is. They helped design it, and test it to the extreme. And it certainly has had its share of problems. Credit that to MA if you wish. But it is no more their fault, than it is Jasson and Todds. It is part of mass production, coupled with builder error at times. Again I say, Crap happens. To say anything will be perfect in any situation is a bold statement. And one that no manufacturer should even have the meet. As it is like I said, un-realistic. That is where their great customer service will chime in. To get it as close to perfect as they can will be great. But there WILL be some issues, I assure you.

How can you make a comment like that. Here is a brand new idea by a brand new company and you expect that final product off the assembly line is going to be perfect. I have serious doubts about that. Nothing against the heli or either JK or TB but they are going to have to put the product out there and the flyers will decide if it is as good as they say it is. Give it time, wait for the product to hit the market and then the flyers will decide Synergy's fate.

Remember the Freya

Bennett was doing the prototype testing for Hirobo on the Freya. When that helicopter was released to the public it was problem free. I can only imagine if they own the company they will work that much harder to make the Synergy problem free as well. These two guys have a history of sucess that goes on and on and on so I am sure they will not let us down

Not realy, as I am sure there are many other manufacturers that beleived that the model they have produced was indeed ready for the PUBLIC, just to have the PUBLIC prove that theory WRONG. It is impossable to predict which part will act funny after a poor molding sequence, or machineing process. I hope you are right, but I know you are wrong. Mark my words, ONE year after a working model has been on the market, then all will be known. And I bet you the same 50 bucks you were willing to bet on the production time line that there are issues. Care to take that bet?

Oh, and the Freya is not problem free.

There's a reason why everyone have a poor taste for that canopy - already, there must be an upgrade for it that will sell like hot cakes!

Personally, I think the canopy looks a little to big, but maybe that is just because its drawn. Otherwise it looks pretty good. A nice paint job and people will be saying damn thats nice.

I wouldn't make too much of a fuss about it.
Paintjobs make a big difference in the appearance of a canopy
I bet the end unit will look real nice.

It really does not matter how it looks, as long as it flys pretty well.

The next issue is you should not need to take out a second mortgage to rebuild it, like the fury.

The thrid thing is it should be fairly easy and straight forward to rebuild after a wreck.

The three required qualities of an RC helicopter kit today. And this is the bluk of the RC helicopter market that a well run RC helicopter company, wishing to make substantial profits, should cater to.

It is what Thunder Tiger did. They developed the most succesful and profitable RC helicopter to date. Nothing has even come close to it's total sales, now or in the past.

let me get the paint job done and all you guys will love the canopy. for most people the looks of a helicopter counts just as much as the way it flys. but the canopy does go with design of the heli. I for one like it.
