Needs to drop the nose a little lower - and change the funky landing gear!

Remove some of the chin from the canopy.

I didn't care for the looks of it at first glance, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.

Front edge to sharp, will be a problem with moulding. It appears that in the side view the upper line of the canopy (glass? area) is straigth, add more curvature. The cheeks (gear train area) could be beefier and added rounds to the canopy body.

Will your add it, enlarge tail boom diameter and add a horizontal fin. Last for beter orientation.

I think it's one of those canopies that just grows on ya, otherwise I like it.

Underneath the nose does look a bit to puffed out...kind of like my chin. Maybe rounding in will remove the illution of an upturned nose.

I don't think anyone missed the point at all. They were asked to express their opinion, and they are doing so. Reguardless of the new "concept" here. People are still intitled to their oppinion. What is wrong with that? Keep in mind that if this thing is going to get off the ground, an "our idea is the best, and we don't care what you think" type additude will get them no where. And I am not saying that this is their way of seeing things. But a look at the canopy, with a little constructive critisizm is not going to hurt anything. Besides these are the people that will perhaps be future customers.

Perhaps, and I am sure you are right. But there will be some that do not like it. I have heard more than one person make the same comments about the Raptor 30 V1. Some will love it, and some will not. It comes with the teritory.

I like it and did right from the start. I like the milli/raptor cross look. In the end it don't matter much, it is whats under the canopy that counts.

You also have to think of that aerodynamic stand point.

slyons2....are you suggesting that this canopy was designed and wind tunnel tested with the optimal 3D design in mind. Somehow I thought it would have turned out different.

I doubt that, as it will take about a year after full production has started for all of its small flaws to come out. To claim it will be PERFECT is un-realistic. I hope it is, but I will not hold my breath on that one!

Please don't let that be the final rendition. Sure some will like it but by in large I don't think many folks will buy it on asthetics.

Look at the raptor 30 when it first came out. It looked like a tumor on a stick but there was tons sold. I think once there is a cool paint job on it there will be a large change in the looks as well.

Now that you mention it I hate both of those colors on any model. Some good paint just might work ownders
