There is a complete Fury compliment already coming. All the big Fury fliers from each company were invited as well. We will see what shakes out with them. Everyone is welcome to come and display their wares. No exceptions, and no favorites played period.

You two guys have some pretty good wares to display as well. I saw both of you go last time. See you there. You might even be a bit surprised and delighted. A couple of the name brand Fury guys are suppose to show for the Gathering too. Again, we will see. What happens, happens.

Can I take your Fury's for a loosening up ride? You have enough confidence built up in those tail rotor gear box systems yet? Rays has stayed together this time, so far anyway.

To answer your question again, everyone is welcom. Even if that come sporting a Duo Bro Shark or Heliboy.

Ray's Fury tail seems to be holding together this time as well. We will see what the long term service life is. His is built correctly for certain, and has been triple checked as well.

See you guys down there.

GSP EXIT 44

I came down that way today and that is the exit that I took onto Rt 575 and turn right towards the AC Airport.... follow that to Rt 322 west and you will see the signs for Carmens just about the time you cross Rt 50... Very easy to find......
See you there.....

Hey there beastie,

It works fine the way it is. However, if you can convince him to put it in there great. I think he likes his 560's however. He can set them up, and fly them in about 1 minute. There is a lot to be said for this feature. And he flys with the 560's pretty well too. Wait until you see how he has improved lately.

You have to remember, there is something to be said for simple. Wait until you see the 560's run with the new CSM servo. The torque, speed, and talk communication speed is increased. About 2 and 1/2 times that of the 9251- 601 combination.

To each his own however. I had a couple of those 9251's go away on me, just like yours did. See you there. You work him over about the issue when you see him. He actually has one sitting in a box in the corner.

Looks like we will be doing some R&D this weekend with that csm servo and 560. what is the speed and torque anyways? To me that 560 Ray had did not hold on very fast backwards flight or backwards hurricane.

It needs a much better servo. The 9253 servos are worthless for the way you fly. You probably get that servo over heated in the first 30 seconds of your routine.

A 9253 will never take the pounding you can dish out. In fact the way most people haved learned to fly now, the 9253 is just not enough servo any longer for many.

Even Futaba knows it, and has tried to replace it with the 9254. We have already seen a few of them getting real hot and stalling on the 90's pretty bad. At least with a guy like you on the sticks that is.

It is really about time for a completely new servo system for the tails. In fact, the helicopters of today could use a better servo system as a whole. Even 9251's and the 94758Z's are running at 125 percent of their capability in many instances now.

You big hitters are getting very good with your helicopters anymore. I don't most of the servo equipment availible today was ever designed for todays helicopters and fliers. Both have evolved too fast for the servo tech to keep up. Yes it all works. But if you talk to people flying hard they are all having servo trouble of some sort to a different degree.

See you there tomorrow you big hitter.

The helicopter gathering has no admission fees or pilot fees at all this year. It is free to everyone who wants to come. No strings attached, and no nonsense.

If you plan to make an RC helicopter event this year treat yourself to this one. Come to the helicopter gathering. You will not be disapointed, we would bet on it.

The helicopter gathering starts tomorrow. September 4th and the 5th. We will have everything you would find at any first class RC helicopter event.

And maybe even a bit more then you might expect. Treat yourself and be our guest. The HELICOPTER GATHERING 2.

Directions

This mapquest map will get you pretty much were you want to go.
You can put your own starting point in and it will get you pretty close to the site. On the map the site will be up and left from center.
where Rt 50 [CapeMay Ave] and Rt 322 [Black Horse Pike] Intersect.

Hope this helps everyone out

Edit: link will not work.. the length of the URL is long and gets cut off here.

Just go to map quest and do a Search for Mays Landing, NJ .. Zoom in and it will show you Rt50 and Rt 322Mapquest
