My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Can anyone tell me, is the top of the 10t gear supposed to be tight inside the bearing - I have 1-2 mm or so play in mine. If it is supposed to be tight - how come mine is so loose ?

Check if the bearing feels ok and if the pinion damaged in some strange way?

If the play is up and down simply adjust the enginemounts position in the frames.

1-2mm of play.

The onlything I could think of is that the supplied
ball bearing is the wrong size.

That bearing should measure 10x19x5

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Thanks - yes I do mean 1-2mm play from side to side. I was getting a lot of wobbles when starting so thought I would strip it down and have a look. The bearing was very notchy but I have a new one however there is still all this play. The Clutch bell is an expensive replacement so I didn't just want to order one. I know that the clutch shaft sits tight in the upper smaller bearing but it's the 10t gear that's got all the movement in it next to the large bearing.

to use them.

the 10T should have the same quality of fit
in the lower bearing as the clutch shaft does in
the upper bearing.
