My Posts This: Topic Forum | Sometimes I wonder that my selfI have a couple of varios. The first crash I had was do to a gearing stripping out. I was told I had to grease it when I built it. But the instructions didn't say anything about greasing it. It was a metal to plastic arrangement. When i called vario, the first question they asked me is, did I grease it when I built it, I told them I didn't know. I told them if the insturctions told me to grease then I did. I told them I will have to check. I checked the chopper, no grease, I checked the instructions over and over and over, the directions did not say anything about greasing that gear. I had other people check the instructions, no one else could find where it said to grease it either. I called vario, and went over the instructions with them page by page, word by word -- hum... they could find it either! There comment was, oh, we will have to contact Germany and have that fixed. What did they do for me? Charge me about $500 in repair parts!
Then I blew up a engine, I blew the skirt off the pistion. I didn't know why, sent it back to the engine manufacture. They told me that I must have had the wrong tuned pipe on it. Well, I had a 61 size engine in chopper with a turned pipe. I put the 70 size engine in it, called vario after I bought the bigger engine from them, and asked them if I can use the same pipe from the 61 without any problems. They said sure you can, no problem. Hum... bit again! |
