It was bigger than last year if ya like planes but, WHERE was ASSURANCE and ACE hobbies??? Only Heli manafacturer was century.
And man did the cramp the swapmeet into a tiny little room..

assurance has a new relationship with cermark, and cermark was presenting and selling align products. a couple of align pilots were in the booth to answer questions. i have attended the show as a vendor rep for almost twenty years (mostly with cermark) and this year was much better than I expected, I think better than last year, and certainly better than year's past when there was some real garbage filling the booths. I don't think the model airplane economy is great, but in talking to many of friends who run RC companies things aren't too bad - in some cases, things are pretty good, and some that are "pretty good" are pretty high end. Last year I saw very few people walking around with "kits" - this year (yesterday and today) I saw many.

Helis weren't very visible, Century was the only display dedicated to to helis, and there were no heli parts available - but it's a lot easier to sell a replacement prop for an airplane than a main gear for a specific heli. the show does have something of a flea market feel to it - some mfrs were displaying new products, but overwhelmingly it is small companies selling their products, or using the show as a big storefront. If you know not to expect a lot of helis, you won't be disappointed.

hi there i just downlad a few videos of the ama show and i having this problem in hd that the sound its off sincronicity ...with the video ...
i try all hd videos from rr and the run ok ...its not a problem with my computer....do they change the codec or what?

interesting little blue thunder...the tail is way out of scale with that fene lol... if that comes prepainted like that, its the wrong shade of blue...

Cant wait till i can afford to finish building our 1/7th one....

Im also a bubble head in addition to being a rotor head so was nice to see some sub related stuff as well... thanks for taking the photos mark.
