Embed Videos into Your Posts

First, locate the video's ID. This can be done by right clicking on the video and selecting Copy Video url or copying the ID directly from the address line. For example:

The ID for this YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi7G-VzU2r4) is: gi7G-VzU2r4.
The ID for this Vimeo video (http://www.vimeo.com/19990328) is: 19990328.

Currently, RunRyder only has a Post Tag button for YouTube videos. Click the YT (YouTube) Post Tag button, paste the ID into the prompt window and press Ok. YouTube tags will be added to the ID. Click Preview or Submit to see the result.

To embed a Vimeo video, manually add the Post Tags to the video ID.
For example: [vimeo]19990328[/vimeo]. Click Preview or Submit to see the result.

Create a URL Link

When composing your post, click the URL Post Tag button. Enter the URL into the prompt window and press Ok. Click the URL Post Tag button again (it will be highlighted in pink), to finish the action. Click Preview or Submit to see the result.

You can also create a URL link by typing the URL directly into your message, highlighting the text and pressing the URL Post Tag button. Click Ok on the prompt window (no need to retype URL). Click Preview or Submit to see the result.

Go to the Events, Shows and Fun Flies forum. Click Create New Topic. Compose an opening post and press Submit New Topic. The following will appear at the bottom of your topic:

Enter your event information in the spaces provided and click Submit to RC Helicopter Event Summary. Your event will be added to the event summary.

The link to the RunRyder event summary is located at the top of every page under EVENTS. A link to the event summary is also found in the Events, Shows and Fun Flies forum.

Please note: There is no RunRyder Event Calendar. Instead, all events are listed in date order.
Why Your Topic was Moved

RunRyder moves topics, usually from the Main Discussion, when they would be better served in a more specific forum.

For example, a Main Discussion topic displaying a video would be moved to the Photos and Videos forum, whereas a Main Discussion topic which warns others of a classified bad guy would be moved to CLASSIFIEDS - Feedback - Mediate forum.

If you believe your topic was moved and you are unable to locate it, click the logo located at the top of every page. This will display all your topics and their location.
Closing Your Topics and Reopening Your Topics

You and RunRyder moderators are the only people who have the ability to close your topics. To close your topic, click the EDIT link located at the bottom right of your opening post. Then at bottom right click Confirm then click Close Topic.

Once your topic is closed it can only be reopened by a moderator.
Deleting Topics

You cannot delete a topic once you've submitted it. Consider editing it instead.
Printing Topics

The Print TOPIC link can be found bottom left of every topic.
Post Tags

RunRyder Post Tags can be used to help design the way your message looks. It is a set of tags based on HTML, but unlike HTML, it is based on a simpler syntax that will never break the page layout of RunRyder. To use the Post Tag buttons, JavaScript must be enabled.
