You have the ability to design the look of your gallery by using HTML and RR scripting tags. You can add color, backgrounds, links, rearrange your photos, and more. There are three basic steps to script your gallery:
For rrScript Tag documentation click here. Also see these basic scripting FAQs below to help design your gallery: How do I add titles to My Gallery? How do I put text or captions above the pictures in My Gallery? If you would like to add an additional page to your gallery, you will need to create a new script. You can do this by clicking DISPLAY ALL at the top of your gallery. At the bottom of the screen there will be a small text box titled: "New Script Name:". Enter a title for your new script. You can reference this script in your main gallery and create links to it. Here is an example of a RunRyder member who uses several scripts: flytech. Click Display All to see the multiple scripts flytech has created and used to design his gallery. To learn more about scripting see the links below. Click the View Script link at the top of any member's gallery for more scripting examples.

Go to my MY GALLERY (located at the top of every page). At the bottom of the My Gallery screen is a Upload Photo or File box. In this box, click "Browse" to search your computer for the photos or files you wish to upload. After selecting up to four files click the "Upload" button. You can upload up to four files at a time. The maximum size for each is 10MB. Upload many photos at a time using a packed zip file (100mb max). You can only upload files with the following extensions: Uploaded photos will automatically be added to your clipboard. If the "Add to script" option is displayed and checked your uploads will added to your current script. You can rearrange the photos in your gallery by editing your script.

Gallery photos can be deleted by going to your My Gallery and clicking the DISPLAY ALL link (located in the top left of your gallery). Then click the selection box above each photo to be deleted. Titles are a helpful way to divide up and explain photos in your gallery. To add a title, you must click EDIT SCRIPT in your gallery. Find the place in your script where you would like to add a title. Type in [title] and next to this whatever you wish the title to be. After you are done, click the "Save Script" button at the bottom on your text box to have your title displayed. For example: [title] My Pico Z This would produce a grey title bar with "My Pico Z", centered and in white font.

|
Click EDIT SCRIPT in your gallery. Then scroll down the page to the script text box. Locate the image you wish to add a caption to. Add at the end of the image file name type: "[desc]". After [desc], enter the caption you wish to use. When you are done click the “Save Welcome Script” button. For Example: [img] /helicopter/gallery/9523/DSC_0470.jpg [desc] My pride and joy That will put a caption on top of the picture saying "My pride and joy"

Once you find the photo you want to use from another website, put your pointer over that photo and right click on it. When you do this you will see a list of options. At the very bottom you should see 'Properties'. Left click on "Properties". Under the 'General' tab, look for 'Address (URL)'. Copy the complete address URL. Next go to RunRyder, My Gallery and click the EDIT SCRIPT link. Then scroll down the page to the script box and locate the place in the script where you want the photo added. When you have your cursor in the section of the script where you want the photo placed, click the IMG button (located above the text box). A small window will open. Paste the URL into that window and click "OK". A special HTTP code will be inserted into you post. Caution - do not alter the URL or it will not work. Then click “Save Welcome Script”. Your photo should automatically appear in your gallery.

Yes. The video must be 10mb or less and be a .zip file. Upload the video in MY GALLERY the same way you would upload a photo. After you upload the video, you need to place the file information in your script to have it displayed in your gallery.

No, it cannot be done manually. A RunRyder Administrator chooses the picture to represent your gallery. If you would like to change the picture that represents your gallery, pmRR with the request.

In GALLERIES, click the Total 5230 link to view all. This will produce a "Galleries Grid" in which you can click on individual member names to view their gallery. Another way to review all Main Galleries is to continue clicking the top right photo thumbnail. The photo thumbnails are displayed in order with a random starting point for each new visit to RunRyder. Every time you view a new page or do a screen refresh a new photo (a link to a member’s gallery) is displayed. Therefore each time you click on the photo thumbnail a new gallery will be displayed.

RunRyder defaults all galleries to popup in a non resizable format. If the default non resizable gallery does not fit your screen correctly then go to myHOME, Edit Options. Within Edit Options, you can manually adjust the screen height by changing the "Adjust Gallery or Photo Popup Window Bottom Position". Select a plus or minus value to move the bottom of the popup window up or down. To test your changes, click "Submit Modifications", then click GALLERIES and click on a member’s gallery for a popup window.
