RunRyder Classifieds is a free service available to all RR members. The system is setup to be self regulated with limited RR involvement. RR will not take phone calls related to classified issues. Click "Attn: RR" on problem posts. Click ignore to block problem PMs. RR has tools in place to help you make informed buying or selling decisions. Stating price is not mandatory but recommended.
Complaining about price is inappropriate and against policy. Only RC helicopters and related tools and accessories can be sold in RunRyder's Classified forums. Any non RC helicopter items must be listed as For Trade and placed in one of two forums:
e-Classifieds Elec-Trade Wanted to trade for electric based RC helis or parts. Classified posts cannot be used for repeated new product sales or raffles. Classified posts cannot link to competing sites. Photo Upload FAQ Duplicate topics for the same For Sale item will be deleted.

RunRyder will not mediate deals gone bad no matter what and does not want to hear about it. RR will only get involved (for cleanup) after the fact, when both parties publicly come to terms. The RR community police is your only resource when looking for help with deals gone bad (not RR). Please understand that RR reads very little that is posted. No. Only RC helicopters, related parts, tools and accessories can be sold via the RunRyder Classified forums. You can list For Trade other non RC related items under the CLASSIFIEDS - Trade or Wanted forum or the e-Classifieds Elec-Trade Wanted forum. You first need to decide what category your For Sale item falls under. There are two basic Classified areas, one for fuel based helis/parts, the other for electric based helis/parts. Review the forums and post your item in the correct forum. For example, an electric helicopter kit should be posted in the e-Classifieds Elec-Helicopters forum. Once you decide what category your For Sale item goes under, go into that forum and “Create New Topic”. Under the “Create New Topic” screen, first pick what region you are from. Then type in a subject of your For Sale item. For example: Trex 450 SE, with 3 servos, and Astro motor. In the message box, go into more detail regarding your For Sale item. Exactly what the product is. Its condition. How much you are willing to sell it for. How much shipping the buyer will have to pay. What sort of payment you will accept. It is also important to include pictures. You can do this by uploading pictures to your Gallery or using the MyFastPhoto toolbar. To learn more about including photos in your post click here. After you are done including all the information above, click the "Preview" button to view your For Sale post. If it looks good, then click “Submit New Topic”. RunRyder members interested in buying typically PM the seller and discuss the sale through private messaging. You will be alerted to any PM responses by the flashing PM symbol found at the top of the screen. Members can also reply to your topic. If you find that you’ve priced the For Sale item too high and wish to lower the price you can "Post Reply" to your topic and announce a price drop. Once your item is sold there are two things you can do to announce that it is sold. First you can edit the subject of the original For Sale post and add “SOLD” to the title. You can do this by clicking on the "EDIT" link at the bottom right corner of your original post. Once you are in the "Edit Post for Topic:" screen add “SOLD” to the subject. Then click the “Save Edit” button at the bottom of the screen. Secondly, you can choose to close your topic. This will prevent anyone from post replying to it. To do this, click on the "EDIT" link at the bottom right corner of your post within the topic. Once you are under the "Edit Post for Topic:" screen select the "OK to close" box and then click the “Close Topic” button. Once you close your topic, you will not be able to reopen it. ***Buyer Beware! Under your original classified post, click the "Attn: RR" link at the bottom right corner. This will bring up a “New Private Message” screen that is addressed to a RunRyder Administrator. In the message box, please explain where your topic should be moved to. Once you are done, click the “Send Message” button at the bottom of the screen. A RunRyder Administrator will move your item to the correct forum.

There are two ways you can announce you sold your classified item. First you can edit the subject of the original For Sale post and add “SOLD” to the title. You can do this by clicking on the "EDIT" link at the bottom right corner of your original post. Once you are in the "Edit Post for Topic:" screen, add “SOLD” to your topic title. Then click the “Save Edit” button at the bottom of the screen. Secondly, you can close your topic. This will prevent anyone from post replying to it. To do this, click on the "EDIT" link at the bottom right corner of any of your posts within the topic. Once you are under the "Edit Post for Topic:" screen, select the "OK to close" box. Then click the “Close Topic” button. Once you close the topic, you will not be able to reopen it.

After you are satisfied/dissatisfied with a classified sale on RunRyder you have the opportunity to add classified feedback for the seller. To add classified feedback click on the Add Classified Feedback link under the member’s name in the topic which you were satisfied/dissatisfied with. This will bring up a new screen with a generic message referencing the topic. RunRyder suggests that you expand upon this generic message explaining why the sale went good or bad. Once you are done, click the “Submit Reply” button at the bottom of the page and the feedback will be added to the seller’s profile.

Click on any working Add Classified Feedback link. You will have to edit "feedback=1" and "postid=229860" displayed in your browser address bar. http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/rr/newreply.htm?feedback=1&postid=229860 feedback=? Find this value in the member's profile (click member name). See address bar (userid=1). postid=? Find this value by clicking the post's PM link. See address bar (postid=229860). After changing the two values press ENTER and then proceed with your new Post Reply. Be sure to click Preview and review your new Classified Feedback reply. Make sure the title (Post Reply to Topic:) and your message makes sense.

Under every member’s classified post(s) there is a My Classified Feedback link located under their name. You can also view a member’s Classified Feedback by going to their profile.

After you have sold something and the buyer has received the item, ask the buyer to Add Classified Feedback under your member name. Make sure that they click on the Add Classified Feedback for your name, under the For Sale topic that is relevant.

RunRyder will only delete classified feedback when both parties involved consent to have the negative feedback post removed. Once you have come to a resolution, the individual who made the negative post must contact RunRyder through the pmRR link and request that the negative feedback be removed.
