I'm currently flying a Raptor 60 with an OS 61WC engine and Weston pipe. The gyro is a Futaba GY-240 and I just added a GV-1 govenor. I'm also flying a newly built Sceadu 50 with an OS46 and a GY-401/S9253 combination. In work is a scale Long Ranger using my Nexus mechanics.
I recently changed my radio from a Futaba 9VHP to the Hitec Eclipse 7. I really like the Hitec unit. It may not have as many mixing functions as my old 9V but it feels good in my hands and allows me to have 'V' curves on the throttle finally.

I'll be adding some pics soon of my Sceadu.........

Raptor 60 Main Head Bolt Warning

WARNING; Check your R60's 'Jesus' bolt

The 'Jesus' bolt of my R60 sheared and the pictures below show the resulting consequences. Thankfully no one was around when this happened and that the heli wasn't airborne. As it was it sounded like a gunshot when the rotor let go. The one rotor blade and hub travelled about 75 yards one way and the portion of the other rotor blade went about 50 yards in the opposite direction. I suggest that if you have an R60 you replace this bolt with a 4mm shouldered bolt. The R30 main blade bolts work very well.

Here's what the rotor head looked like after departing the mainshaft.
If you look closely you can see the scratches left on the main shaft as the head departed.
