Co-Pilot FS-8 eCCPM setup to prevent binding

Start with proper channel assignment: Do not use less than 50% AFR values during setup for the swash parameters (on a 9CH). You can move the AFR values back to where you had them once the co-pilot recognizes your eCCPM configuration. Make sure your screen is similar to mine (50% on CH1 and CH6, 100% on CH2 - for Elevator cyclic)
Make sure there is no binding with co-pilot off. Adjust head and swashplate normally.
Applying full cylic with co-pilot off. Notice total throw.
Using co-pilot to apply full cyclic. Same total throw with gain properly reduced.

Micro Ball Link Removal Tool

Start with household tweezers. Make sure they are at least 6mm wide at the fat section. I bought mine at the dollar store for 50 cents.
Now cut, file or grind both ends until you reach the widest section. Mark where the hole will go and use a 2mm bit to drill through both plates. If necessary, squeeze the tweezers to make sure both holes will line up.
Enlarge one of the holes to 3.7mm and then cut a slot from the edge of the plate to the hole. I started by enlarging the hole with a 1/8” bit and worked my way thru with a file. Make sure the gap is big enough to clear the head of the ball.
Now insert a 2x4mm screw from the outside in, and use a 2mm nut to lock it.

Done! Enjoy!
