Friday morning we will open the field at 10 am as pilots show up we will do one on ones with the basic rules unless we get a big turn out on Friday. Saturday there will be a pilots meeting at 9:00 am field open at 10:00 am. Pilots must bring there AMA cards and must sign in before flying!! not just our rules but the field is a city park and we have to make sure everyone is AMA members. The sun has came out and the field is looking good. We have 4 flight stations that are 150 ft border to border. All pilots must us a spotter if you are here alone just ask any of the members or other pilots I am sure there will be no problem getting a second set of eyes out there with you. We are going to be cooking burgers and Dogs chips and sodas. But Abilene does have some good if not great places to eat so feel free to sample the local food. I look forward to having a great time this weekend and also hoping to make new friend and lasting memories. I will be there all three days and always willing to help the new guys get there birds flying great as well as helping anyone that need help. It already looks like we are well at least a 95% sure chance that we will have three really outstanding 3D pilots from the DFW area and I also know that Mr Anson Hargrove and friends will be rolling in from the Lubbock area so Lets go burn some NITRO and kick this chopper madness off to a good come back.
