Raptor 50 Crash again - Stripped Servo!

What a bad day of flying. First the fuel line breaks off INSIDE the fuel jug, then I accidentally spray fuel all over my canopy while carelessly fueling up, then I accidentally wipe off the Alan Szabo Jr signature from the fuel spill, then my aileron servo strips out and I put it into the woods!
The helicopter went in inverted AND backwards... somehow it landed as seen in these pics with only 1 blade damaged and a few small parts in the rotorhead. Didn't even bend the boom or break the skids.
It disappeared inverted and backwards behind the trees and ended up like this, AMAZING!

Gasser RAW Unedited Aerial Video Files

People wanted to see RAW unedited video from my gasser camera ship. These clips are from various stages of testing and development, as well as training videos for both camera operators and pilot. The video clips are RAW right off the camera and exported out to MOV format, converted to MPEG, then converted to WMV. Enjoy, but please remember these are not for production, just to show people what raw, unedited video looks like from my gasser camera ship.

Raw unedited clips from Gasser helicopter with Canon GL1. No gyros on video equipment for these tests. This was a test of how hard I could fly the heli with the camera on it. It was NOT supposed to be SMOOTH, it was meant to be HARD FLYING to see how the mount held up. Notice the skids going above the horizon during the sharp turns. RaptorCam RAW Unedited Aerial Video Files

These are the two (and only two) videos of raw footage from the RaptorCam mount I built for my Raptor 30 helicopter. The mount was designed for STILL pictures, not for video but we all decided to see if we could do it anyway. All video is shot thru and recorded via the wireless downlink coming from the Canon S110 Digital Elph still camera. The footage includes all of the shots we have from the helicopter, as well as the other video footage seen in the RaptorCam promos. Part 1 contains a "behind the scenes" view of how we shot the RaptorCam promos, and also includes footage of the Del Sol Chase shot from chase car. Enjoy, but please remember these were for proof of concept only and came from a RAPTOR 30.
